I am sporting socks that look like the cast of Yo Gabba Gabba threw up on, hella comfy Old Navy fleece winter jammy pants, & the finest chipped nail polish in Revlon Top Speed Royal. I'm fugging tired but can't sleep. I think it's due to caffeine overload. Today I had a double tall latte, tall drip coffee, and a large ice tea... well i just had a beer at BJ's. I don't know. I'm just sleeeepy.

I fell asleep with just a snuggie.

During the winter, I usually need a heated blanket + a comforter OR 2 heavy comforters to fall asleep and stay asleep. Last night I just knocked out with only a Snuggie.  The days are getting warmer. I'm excited.

After a few late nights in the kitchen + one all nighter... Here's the cake I baked. It was freakin' huge. Seriously. I used about 53 cups of cake batter & 30 cups of frosting. Holy cow, right?! It's not as nice looking as I had hoped but it's not bad for my first time making a cake more than two tiers. Big thanks to my boyfriend. I couldn't have done it without him.

So after the whole cake phase I just wanted to paint something other than my nails because I did a Seahawks mani but we lost so it was kind of sad. We stopped by Jo-ann Fabrics before church because I wanted to browse. After church, while Travis was setting up him home studio, I painted him some "artwork" to hang up. If you ever played Cut the Rope on an iPhone maybe you'd get some of the random images.. haahah. I'm not completely weird.

WTF, Snooki. You can't feel the Jersey Shore breeze?

Friday Funday!

Happy Friday!

I don't have to go into work today. Sweet. Totally. I already put in my 40 hours so I have a free day. I'm going downtown to meet my friends, Hien and Allyne for lunch. I'm excited. I think I'm going to walk around and browse the retail world.

I like window shopping. Even though it can cause a lot of temptation, impulse purchases, and buyers regret.  I just like to see what goes on in the world of consumerism. Window shopping, to me, is one way of indirectly and anonymously connecting with another persons creative side. I find it interesting to see what people come up with and how they market their ways of contributing to society.


Before I head out I'm going to try out this Garnier Fructis Blow Dry Perfector. I was blessed with my Mom's course hair. It has a mind of its own.

I gotta pan... I gotta plan.. Imma bake this cake in maaah hand ;)

I don't know if I like this pattern...

I liked it at first but after editting it with the pictureshow app I feel unsure about it. I feel like it could be printed on a scarf made for elderly women with permed white hair. Who then would wear it with some floofy type blouse that matches her formfitting skirt, opaque nylons, & half inch heeled shoes. All while serving pot roast, of course.

Today, I walked around a few stores. I saw hearts & pink everywhere. I felt the urge to paint a heart on a nail since it's already Valentines' day in the consumer world.
